The shooting range is closed during this event to all firearms.
Saturday, Aug 16, 2025, is one of our clubs Archery Matches.
We will be using the range and setting up targets at various distances.
The range will be closed to all firearm shooting during the event.
Shooting will start at about 11am and could be over by 2 or 3pm depending on the participation.
If you don’t have a bow, Jim will have some that you can try out. For now, it is just shooting fun with no scores.

8-3-2025 Sunday, 10am – The Mystery Target Match (MOHA Match)

  • Targets: Announced the day of the match.
  • Distance: Announced the day of the match.
  • Position: Off-Hand
  • Rifle Weight: No Restrictions
  • Caliber: No Restrictions
  • Practice Shots: Determined by the Range Officer
  • Number of Shots: 10 or more
  • Maximum Score: 100 or more
  • MOHA Shooters will shoot 2 targets for a total of 20 shots.
  • Gemmer/MOHA Members will use target 1 for both Gemmer match and MOHA match.
  • Sights: Open
  • Shaders: Yes
  • Diopters: Yes
  • Cost: $10
  • Prizes: Cash prizes
    Depending on the target selected by the range officer, there may or not be practice allowed. It will be
    announced the morning of the match. Also, some matches may be more than 10 shots.
    Pistol Match: 25-yard black powder pistol match – 6 shots – Cost: $2
    Smoothbore Match: .54 cal +; 6 shots; 5 count; 25 yards Offhand; No rear sights; Cost: $2
