New Venue for the Hawken Classic 2024

We are happy to announce the new location for the Hawken Classic 2024: The Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum.

This museum is located along the Missouri River at 1050 S Riverside Dr, St Charles, MO 63301.

Due to moving to this new location some of the activities have changed from the previous Hawken Classics. We are striving to keep the best items and also add some new things that this new venue offers. This is a private museum and thus there will be some cost associated with the event that we have to pass on to the participants.

For 2024 the museum will have a cost of $7 for adults and $3 for children. NEWS UPDATE: During the Hawken Classic, the gate fees will be waived and entry into the museum will be FREE. This is a result of donations from the NMLRA and the Gemmer Muzzleloading Gun Club. The Hawken rifle displays will be inside the museum. The museum is very cool and has lots for the entire family to see and do.

We will still have the educational seminars throughout the event. There will be some new guest speakers that will add information about the Lewis and Clark period. Many of the speakers from the past events will be back again.

Greg Grime, Bob Browner, and Dean McKibben will be back with their incredible Missouri made rifle displays. Come see the rifle built by Bob Browner as the official rifle for the State of Missouri. This is the gun Representatives Mazzie Boyd and Doug Clemmens shot at the 2023 Hawken Classic.
