Gemmer Activities that are in addition to the normally scheduled monthly matches. These are open to club members and guest of club members unless the event is specifically a Public Event. Our family picnic, board meetings, meat shoots and archery matches will appear here.

10-19-2025 Meat Match Results

We had 22 shooters today for the Gemmer Meat Match. Thank you to Ron Lawrence for running the event! Meat prizes to the 1st and 2nd place shots in each of the 10 rounds.

9-28-2025 Gemmer Family Picnic

The 2025 Gemmer Family Picnic had approximately 55 people attend!  We had pork steaks, chicken thighs, bratwurst, hamburgers and hotdogs, all grilled by Bob Coffelt and Ken Hubbman.  Thank you both for a great job grilling!

It was nice to see some of our new members attend as well as meet many of our family members that had not been out to the range before.
We also had the Last Relay for our passed member, Gene Myers.

Thank you to everyone that help clean up the range and setup a very successful picnic! Special thank you to Art and Rhonda Buckowitz for getting all the meat and drinks for the event!

7-26-2025 Work Day Results

Today we had 7 members attend our July range work day: Mike Briscoe, Brad Dickinson, Ron Lawrence, Dave Brandenburger, Fred Engelhart, Darren Heaton and Bob Vogt.

The following items were done today: Outhouse was cleaned, weed eating around the range, fresh card board added to target stands, 35 yard line had the dirt removed from target holes, all the trash and tree branches were burned, and new rope was installed on the flag pole. (There may have been additional items done that I did not see.)
